Silent Trio, Epilogue is the final chapter of the first major collaboration between Christina Ciupke and Darko Dragičević. The project started in January 2020 and unfolded in seven chapters. In their long-term research, the artists explore the forces of growth and decay in nature and man-made constructions. Their research led them to engage with the intricate life cycles of trees, the legacy of the Spomenik monuments in former Yugoslavia, and urban ruins that once had a function in the political landscape of Berlin. How can the physical experience of these spaces be recreated and transmitted through different media? Christina and Darko invite the audience into an immersive space in which the elements of their collected archive will flow in and come together.
